Dear OMS Alumnus, former Cadets and faculty:

This year recognizes the 160th Anniversary since Grand Prairie Seminary (GPS) was established. Since 1863, many educational institutions have occupied the GPS Foundation campus to include the current Nexus-Onarga Family Healing organization, who identifies its education unit as the Grand Prairie School.

To help commemorative this milestone occasion, OMSAA encourages each member to contribute a favorite memory of your time spend as an Onarga Military School (OMS) cadet, as well as share how your attendance at OMS influenced your personal growth and/or professional life.

Nexus-Onarga would like to use these personal vignettes to highlight the significant value OMS brought to the community and larger society. Each of us, no matter how long we attended, made an impact in some positive way among the student population, the local community, our family, and friends, which guided us toward being a productive citizen. Please participate and share your thoughts.

Request you compose your descriptive paragraph, and email or mail it at your earliest convenience to Renee Sier to either respective address below.

Also, please consider purchasing a OMS Commemorative Brick for yourself, in memory of a classmate, a patron or family member, or to recognize a favorite instructor. This contribution not only provides a permanent presence of your memory on campus, but supports the current development and education of Nexus-Onarga resident students.
